The advanced infrared sensor and OLED color display guarantee accurate measurement of SpO2 and pulse rate, even under conditions of low blood perfusion, ensuring reliable readings in any environment. The patented multi-directional display offers 6 different layout options for convenient viewing of your blood oxygen level and pulse measurement, with the ability to switch the OLED display from facing the user to another layout facing your caregiver at the push of a button.

Each wave (see image) corresponds to a heartbeat, and the wave amplitude corresponds to the amount of blood detected. If the wave amplitude is low, this means that your blood perfusion is too low for a reliable read, and you should retake your measurement, ensuring that your finger is positioned right under the LED lights.

The digital pulse oximeter is able to measure SpO2 between 70% and 100%, and pulse rate between 30 and 250 beats per minute (bpm). It is normal and natural for your SpO2 and pulse rate to fluctuate as the amount of arterial blood pulses and changes with each heartbeat. A ±3 fluctuation in your SpO2 is considered normal.

The device comes equipped with 2 AAA batteries, a silicone cover for protection against dirt and damage, and a lanyard for added convenience. Additionally, it is the only pulse oximeter in the Zacurate line to offer an 18-month manufacturer's warranty.

The battery icon will display the low power indicator when the battery is low, and it is advised to replace the batteries at that time. Any movement can cause the device to reset its readings, so it is best to take readings during resting phases while the body is not mobile, or wait 10-15 minutes after finishing exercise before taking a reading.
